Article 1 - Acceptance
It is very important to start from a position of acceptance of wherever you are, the tendency to resist and push against our perceived failings, uncomfortable feelings and unproductive behaviour, leads to us not only feeling stuck about the negative aspects of the problem but in our body image it also associates stress and conflict with the solution. Acceptance does not mean condoning or approving of the situation, it just means standing up and see things as they are, realising that this is where you are right now, and you move from here towards where you want to go and not from some fantasy of how it could be if only….

You are listening to this with the purpose of increased sensitivity and pleasure, and bringing to bear a sense of acceptance and appreciation to the following journey and exercises, knowing that the more you go along with my voice, and your feeling of anticipation grows as to how much more effective each listening will become as you bring concentration and calmness to your acceptance of going along and doing every movement/exercise/ practise described within
Look with your eyes to your left hand, the back of your left hand, feel how the sensations in your skin change when u look at the back of your left hand, and now just slowly move your line of sight along your thumb and feel how the sensation follows where you look at your hand.
Make a slow circle with your eyes on the palm of your hand, make it a large circle and then a smaller circle, just play with the different speeds, sometimes slow, sometimes fast, play with different circles now for a while, circling, circling ,circling,
Just look from the back of your left hand to your left elbow with your eyes closed, and notice the sensations as your eyes travel up and down your forearm. Then coordinate your breathing with your eye movements, as you breath in allow your eyes to move smoothly up your arm and as you breath out, allow your eyes to move back down your arm.
Just allow that feeling to increase to a level that's feels very good to you, maybe even a bit more than that,
Change your internal state to change your external life, as we all know, looks and money do not a personality make. Many people with both the magazine ocver looks and money, are as frustrated and anyone else and when it comes down to it are just as unhappy.
Concentrate on the feelings you have about your desire for chocolate/how attractive you feel/etc…
Now as you breath out jst let it go and relax your main grip arm at the same time.
How would it feel to just let go, just….like that…
Just try it on, experience the letting go so you may know what it is like
How would it feel to just let go of it…for good…feelings to fill your body
Detach from the outcome
You are now consciously changing the feelings in your body, small to start with but as this ability of yours grows each day, you will soon be able to create the most wonder ful and delight full sensations anywhere in your body. These are your powers over how good you feel, and you can now enjoy and really relish the knowledge of your own ability to feel differently when you want to.
The meta state, or your feelings are the difference between the glass of water you drink when u are thirsty but in a rush, and the meal or dessert that you can eat very slowly and really enjoy and then you relish the slight decadence of the whole endeavour.
